A Taste of Home—Where Italy Meets American Comfort
If you grew up in an Italian-American family, you already know that desserts weren’t just sweets—they were weekend rituals.
This Blueberry Crumble Cake is exactly the kind of treat Nonna would pull out when cousins were running around the house and the smell of Sunday sauce was still in the air.
Rustic, Creamy, and Bursting with Blueberries
This cake brings together the heart of Italian home baking with the warmth of American-style crumbles.
It has:
a wholesome whole-wheat base enriched with ricotta and coconut
a silky cream cheese layer
a fresh, naturally sweet blueberry sauce
a golden coconut crumble on top
Perfect for brunch, merenda, or a cozy dessert with coffee—it’s simple, charming, and irresistibly soft inside with a lightly crisp topping.
